Loire Lunch April 19 with Antoine Gouffier of Domaine du Bouchot

$150.00

Atelier Perlée welcomes Antoine Gouffier owner and winemaker of Domaine du Bouchot for an intimate celebration of terroir, craft, and discovery. Here, in the heart of Oregon's Dundee Hills, guests will journey to the flinty soils of Pouilly-Fumé through wine, food, and story.

The Vigneron

Antoine Gouffier is a revelation. Named Discovery of the Year 2022 by La Revue du Vin de France, he represents a new generation of Loire winemakers—rooted in heritage, guided by instinct, uncompromising in quality. Born in Saint-Andelain, he spent twelve years exploring the world's vineyards before returning home to craft Pouilly-Fumé that reminds critics and collectors why the appellation matters.

Hand-harvested. Aged on lees. His wines speak of gunflint and smoke, of ancient limestone and cold river mornings. They are young, alive, extraordinary.

The Experience

The afternoon begins with a guided tasting of Antoine's wines—pure expressions of Pouilly-Fumé's singular minerality. Between pours, a conversation: making Sauvignon Blanc around the world, biodynamic farming, climate adaptation, and what it means to steward land for the next generation. Although from a wine growing family, Antoine purchased vineyards farmed organically and biodynamically since 2009. His approach to viticulture mirrors Perlée's own philosophy—long-term stewardship over short-term gains, working with nature rather than against it.

Then, lunch. A menu inspired by the Loire Valley's garden abundance: freshwater fish, legendary goat cheeses, asparagus from France's garden, dishes that honor the river and the land and a touch of Oregon
